The chandrabadni temple is a hindu holy place located in " Tehri Garhwal district of uttrakhand ".
This temple dedicated to goddess sati mata and the greatest shakti peeth.
It is situated about 34 km from the holy town of devprayag ,uttrakhand.
This temple is situated on the top of " Chandrakoot mountain"
The holy story behind "Chandrabadani Temple" :
Chandrabadani temple is located on the place where body of goddess sati fell while lord shiva was taking away her burned body. Her armaments(weapons) were also break up in the place.This temple is one out of 51 shakti peeth.
